A LITTLE ROOM FOR EACH OTHER

Our common ground.

Share a thought. Give it room to change. Treat the person on the other side with care.

Curiosity is enough

A new recipe. A difficult book. An opinion you are reconsidering. Thenside is a place for everyday things that might have a next chapter. You do not need a project, a deadline, or a finished answer. Other languages and interests are welcome.

Ask sincere questions, make room for disagreement, and respect when someone does not want to continue. No one owes an update or an outcome.

Be responsible for your words

  • Use your own words and credit quotations. Do not impersonate people or mislead others about who you are.
  • Do not harass, threaten, promote violence, target people with hate, or share someone’s private information without permission.
  • Do not publish sexual exploitation or unlawful material, run scams, send spam, coordinate unwanted attention, or evade safety controls.

Report a concern with enough context for review. Do not organize retaliation.

Let a thought unfold

Only the original author adds official updates or an outcome. Everyone else joins through replies. Follow updates brings the author’s next development to Catch up; following the person and saving the post are separate choices.

Edits are marked and prior versions remain accessible with the post. Use an update for a change that deserves fresh context. An author can conclude and reopen a thought. Deleting the original also removes the continuation and its replies.

Set your own boundaries

Mute hides an account’s content in your signed-in experience. Block also removes follows, thought subscriptions, and Notifications between the accounts and prevents authenticated interaction. Neither prevents signed-out reading: posts here are public.

Use the report action on a post to tell the owner about a problem. Reports are private. The owner can dismiss a report, remove content, or suspend the author. There is no automated moderator or promised response time.

A small community, cared for by a person

The owner chooses starter suggestions and may require invitations or pause new accounts, search, or publication while handling an incident. Invitations are for sharing personally with people who want to join.

The community operator is Senol Sahin. For questions or a mistaken moderation decision, contact: senols@gmail.com. Include a post or account reference and a short explanation.
